this month we are featuring a Custom Honda CB400 Cafe Racer built by Mad
Scientist Garage from Cebu City, headed by its master builder and mechanic
Alvin Saludes. Alvin has keen eye for detail, a passion for motorcycles, and a
penchant for pushing boundaries, he has breathed new life into the classic
Honda CB400, transforming it into an exquisite Cafe Racer that turns heads
wherever it goes. This remarkable creation is exclusively crafter for owner Ian
Cataluna the proud custodian for this true work of art in two-wheels.

Saludes' custom Honda CB400 Cafe Racer is more than just a motorcycle; it's a
work of
art on wheels. One of the standout features of this bike is the custom
monoshock rear suspension. Replacing the traditional twin shock setup, the
monoshock not only enhances the bike's performance but also gives it a modern
and sleek look. This Cafe Racer is all about embracing the solo rider
experience. Alvin converted the bike into a single-seater, complete with custom
leather seats. The attention to detail is remarkable, as the handcrafted
leather seats not only provide comfort but also exude vintage charm. Saludes'
ingenuity extends to the bike's suspension system. The monoshock rear
suspension provides a smooth and controlled ride, while the upside-down forks
