Honda Riders Convention 2026 : Honda Street Jam Takes Over Mactan!

By: Arnel B. Santos-Ynigo

The coastal breeze of Lapu-Lapu City met the raw, unadulterated rumble of engines as The Mactan Newtown transformed into ground zero for ultimate two-wheel passion. Last September 5, 2026, the Mactan Expo erupted for the Honda Street Jam Riders Convention, bringing together thousands of riders, enthusiasts, and speed freaks under one massive, high-octane roof.

From early morning blood drives to late-night rock riffs, the convention wasn't just an event—it was a full-blown celebration of motorcycle culture.

The Main Stage: Next-Gen Machinery

While the venue was packed with aftermarket trade booths, custom motorshow showcases, and mouth-watering food partner hubs, the real jaw-droppers sat under the spotlight.

The All-New Honda CLICK125: Street-Style Evolved Honda officially pulled the sheet back on the upgraded CLICK125, elevating the ultimate urban commuter to a whole new level of attitude:

  • Raw Street Aesthetics: Stripped-down naked handlebars, aggressive street-style design, custom cast wheels, and a freshly designed digital meter panel.

  • Smart Tech & Convenience: Integrated Smart Key System, Built-in Type-C charging port, and Idling Stop System (ISS).

  • Proven Power: Powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled eSP engine equipped with Honda's safety-first Combined Braking System (CBS).

Hands on the Throttle: The Test Ride Zone

Riders didn't just look—they rode. The test track let convention-goers throw a leg over Honda’s latest line-up of underbones, scooters, and heavy-hitting Big Bikes. Two machines stole the show:

1. Honda WN7 — The Electric Revolution

The future of the open road officially landed. The WN7 redefines electric mobility with a revolutionary "frameless" chassis where its 9.3kWh battery acts as the core structural support for unmatched agility.

  • Instant Power: 100 N·m of immediate torque rivaling high-displacement gas engines.

  • Endless Range: 140km+ range with high-speed charging (20% to 80% in under 30 minutes).

  • Tech-Forward: Signature LED lighting paired with a 5-inch TFT display powered by Honda RoadSync.

2. NX500 — The Urban Explorer

Built for daily street hustles and spontaneous off-grid escapes, the compact adventure-tourer NX500 came equipped with Honda E-Clutch Technology—delivering ultra-smooth, effortless gear shifts whether navigating city traffic or hitting light dirt trails.

Pure Adrenaline & Brotherhood

The energy never dipped across the expo grounds:

  • Precision & Skill: The high-stakes Gymkhana competition pushed rider control to its absolute limits, alongside an intense E-Sports Tournament indoors.

  • Games & Giveaways: Attendees tested their reaction times at the Reflex Drop Sticks Challenge and fought for bragging rights at the arcade basketball courts before the Grand Raffle gave away legendary prizes.

  • Rider Unity: A dedicated Rider Safety Talk reinforced community responsibility, followed by Club Recognition honoring the local motorcycling packs that keep the culture alive.

  • Giving Back: Proving riders have the biggest hearts, the morning CSR Blood Letting Activity saw massive community turnouts.

As the sun set over Lapu-Lapu City, a roaring Live Band Performance blew the roof off the Mactan Expo—capping off a day of adrenaline, innovation, and unity.

The Honda Street Jam set a new benchmark for Philippine rider conventions. Until the next jam: keep the rubber side down, and ride on!
