OZR GP 3RD Leg Primer
We are now half-way on the OZR GP Racing Season, who will win this pivotal
3rd leg. Its a close race on top in the Expert Open between Gary Caneda of
Honda Motorworld and Robbie Enriquez of Team MAC. A big win for any of them
will mean a definite advantage in the final 2 legs. Will Gary bounce back this
time? Or will the Pacific tornado Robbie Enriquez come-out and start swinging
some haymakers as he did in his double win in the 2nd leg? Add Arnel Fajardo,
and Andrei Ursal on the mix and it will be an epic battle not to be missed.
Meanwhile in the Novice open Lyndon Requilme has a comfortable lead over
Gary and Robbie after garnering a consistent back to back 2nd place finish
in the 1st and 2nd leg. Will he go all the way this time? Gary and Robbie are
tied in the 2nd spot Will they assert their dominance and take the lead for good?
In the Beginner 110 category its a tie between Keken Cabahug of Team CYRUS and
Mario Borbon of X-Racing. Both have been performing exceptionally well in the
previous races its difficult to tell who has the definite advantage. It will
be an interesting battle between this 2 on the 3rd leg. Nelson Mayol of
Norkis Yamaha and Moises Munoz of Team MAC are not far behind and will provide
a lot of fireworks on top.
In the Beginner 125 Mario Borbon of X-Racing leads Keken Cabahug but with
the emergence of Jes Louie Vega of Team CYRUS it will be an interesting mix
on top, add Nelson Mayol and Moises Munoz and its a sure recipe for intense
racing action.
In the mix automatic open Insik flores of X-racing has a firm grip on the top spot
after brilliant performances on the 1st and 2nd leg. Will the battle hardened
veteran go all the way? Lyndon Requilme is not far behind , will he assert his
dominance as he did in the 1st leg? Will Mark Capoy of SkutGarage showcase once
again his brilliance as he did in the 2008 season? Kenneth Ouano has made his
comeback and has immediately asserted himself, does he have what it takes to roll with the big boys?
Dont miss the exciting 3rd of the OZR GP 2009 season at PortoFino beach mactan.
