From a humble livestock workhorse to a jaw-dropping vintage masterpiece, Dominic Cañizares brings a 1940s bicycle concept to life with true garage-built grit.
THE SPARK OF AN IDEA
It all started back in 2015 at a tattoo convention, where Dominic Cañizares laid eyes on a crusty, vintage bicycle that immediately stole his heart. Fast forward to 2026, and that lingering dream finally transformed into steel and horsepower. Drawing heavy inspiration from mid-1940s Schwinn bicycles, raw klunker styling, and relaxed beach cruisers, Dominic set out to build a true head-turner.
The donor vehicle? A mid-’90s Honda TMX 155 Platino with serious history—having spent its former life hauling livestock supplies in a sidecar around the province of San Remigio, Cebu. Now equipped with a high-compression kit, this old-school machine still packs plenty of attitude (and the occasional leg-snapping kickback when starting!).
THE ONE-MAN WORKSHOP
Operating out of his one-man garage, Pussyland Customs, Dominic balances a full-time night job as a Virtual Assistant with long hours under the garage light. Aside from engine prep by MJ Motorshop, every detail on this build was brought to life completely in-house—fabrication, paint, custom wiring, and final assembly.
"Waking up each day with a purpose, a game plan, and a strategy on what to work on next is the best part of this hobby. Every man my age needs a diversion from all the due dates and responsibilities of everyday life."
Working with basic tools didn't slow him down; instead, resource limitations pushed his creative problem-solving to the next level. While off-the-shelf parts like the headlight, fender, seat, and wheelset were sourced online, the magic lies in the bespoke handcrafted components—most notably the show-stopping banana girder fork, which flawlessly bridges the gap between classic pedal-bike nostalgia and motorcycle functionality.

HEART, SOUL, AND SUPPORT
Behind every great build is a strong support system. Dominic credits his wife as the ultimate co-pilot—helping lift heavy engine blocks, keeping burnout at bay, and standing by his craft since day one.
At Pussyland Customs, it isn't about mass production or quick turnarounds; it's about creating one-of-one rolling art with character, history, and heart.
