We have been covering small motorcycles modifying culture for over 8 years already and still counting. We have the latest updates/news on motorcycle racing events from all over the country such as circuit, motocross, flat track, endurance, trail and supermoto. We cover motorshows from all over the country. We cover the latest bike launches and the latest trends in bike modifying culture.

But at the core of Underbone Tuner is the bike modifying / customizing culture. We scour the country for the best motorcycle builders/modifiers. We feature the owners of these amazing bikes and the talented teams and individuals behind these bikes. We give you the story behind those builds and hopefully we inspire others to keep this fascinating culture alive.

Honda Motorworld Underbone Circuit Race : Presscon at Kartzone

Honda Motorworld Underbone Circuit Racing is one of the biggest
racing events happening in the year 2010, the first race of the year
will be happening on January 10, 2010 in Kartzone Cebu City as part
of the pre Sinulog event.

Interviews:
1. Arnel UT: What motivated Honda Motorworld Inc. to finally come-up
with a full racing season? Whats the aim of HMI from this activity.
Jonnel Borromeo HMI: Actually this is a joint program with HPI, we want to
contribute to the development of the sport, develop the riders
from the grassroots level and also provide Honda motorcycle
owners and riders a chance to develop and hone their racing
skills. To support this vision we will not charge any fee from
the participants. We feel that the core of Honda is racing and we
want to build on that. Honda's strength has been its engine
and we want to demonstrate that Honda motorcycle are highly
reliable as proven by its performance on the track. We also
want take out illegal racing on the streets and motivate riders
to compete in these legal races which is a lot more safer.

2. Arnel UT: The Honda Motorworld Racing Team has a very strong line-up, is there
a possibility that this team will see action in the national level?
Jonnel Borromeo HMI: Definitely thats one of our goals to be able to
compete with the national level riders. Thats why we are molding
this team, providing them with the right training and exposure to
further develop their skills.

3. Arnel UT: Aside from the Cebu teams are there going to be guest teams from
the nearby provinces?
Jong Uy Racing Line: Yes we have teams coming in from Davao and Dumaguete.
Powercycle from Davao, Honda Binos and DU EK SAM Dumaguete.

4. Arnel UT: Will there be side events during race day?
Jonnel Borromeo HMI: Yes, there will be a display and sales of new Honda apparels,
backpacks, jackets, shirts, caps, etc.

5. Arnel UT: Aside from the race, what other events from HMI & HPI will be in store
for underbone enthusiasts in 2010?
Jonnel Borromeo HMI: On March 27-28, 2010 we will bring in Pro Mechanics and
Pro Riders from
the national level to conduct a race clinic and Technical clinic
for mechanics. Spark Ortille will be conducting the race clinic, to
share his knowledge to our local racers and enthusiasts.
