OZR Cup 2008 3rd Leg a Smashing Success
OZR Cup 2008 3rd Leg a Smashing Success
By: Arnel B. Santos-Ynigo
Congratulations to Zandro Fajardo of OZ Racing Corp for another very successful leg of OZR Underbone Circuit Racing 2008 Series. Despite the rainy weather the event was highly attended the crowd was three times bigger and 3 times louder than the
2nd leg. Kartzone was packed the place was under a blanket of underbone bikes and cars. The parking lot was overflowing to the point that some spectators parked their cars and bikes on the main highway.
The race was highlighted with the formal launching of OZR Motard Rims a new innovative product of OZ Racing Corp. It’s made of high tensile alloy which is way much stronger than the welded version out on the market. It has a much better finish and is much more thicker and way more affordable than the current motard rims out on the philippine market.
The race on the 3rd leg utilized bike mounted sensors which led to much quicker race results and an accurate measure of lap times. A lot of hard crashes, wipe-outs and pile-ups occurred but some very talented riders stood out despite the very challenging race conditions.
See something familiar at the gate?
The number of participants have doubled since the 2nd leg
