Capcom Mega Man Zero inspired Honda XRM125 from Talisay City Cebu

For this month we are featuring a modified Honda XRM 125 inspired by one of the iconic
characters from CAPCOM, Mega Man Zero. This bike certainly brings fun memories
during your teenage years playing in the arcade or favorite gaming center in the city.
Mega Man Zero is actually known as “Rockman Zero” in Japan, it is a series succeeding
the Megaman X storyline, and a series in Capcom's Mega Man video game franchise.
The bike is owned by Isaac C. Saranillo an Assistant Design Architect from Talisay city
Cebu. "I choose this theme Megaman Zero or Black Magma Zero as the character "Zero"
has black version, he can emulate the powers of magma which means to my bike as heat
attraction to people. Hence I dubbed my bike as "BMZ" I really like this game especially
its character “ZERO” I really enjoyed playing it when I was a kid. Besides that I am
addicted to this stuff, I look at also the features of this character that may match to my bike
modifications. Zero has a wide variety of weapons, reflecting to my bike, I also did many
variations in terms of modifications which was really my plan to make it unique from other
bikes." Isaac added during the interview.

Going into the bike it sports the Megaman Zero Black Magma full body panel decals which
carry the theme. It also sports a wide array of Racing Boy aftermarket parts and accessories
such as the S-line handle bar, V3 rear set , frame cover, rear fluid tank, front/rear brake
hose, handle grip, chain tensioner, toe guard, V2 fork stabilizer, front/rear brake caliper,
brake lever, lever pad, brake switch, emblem, bar ends. They also installed a wide
assortment of THDM aftermarket parts such as the Bikers fluid tank cover, Bikers oil
dipstick, Bikers chain guard, Koso left handle switch, Koso digital voltmeter with clock,
Koso digital thermometer, Uma quick throttle, Uma carburetor, Orbr oil Coiler, Orbr swing
arm, Option 1 steering damper, Option 1 Center nut, Koza front/rear flower hub, Koza
front/rear disc plates, Osaki chain, Osaki sprocket set, Osaki spokes, Yoko excellence
front/rear rim wrapped with Vee Rubber Tires, Rizoma lever guard, and Rizoma v2 side
mirror. For the suspension Isaac and Michael installed TTGR Rear shock and front outer
tubes.

For this month we are featuring a modified Yamaha Sniper 150 MXi inspired by the movie
Pacific Rim. The bike is owned by Khent Pelimer a freelance Graphic Artist/ Video Editor
from Perrelos, Carcar City,Cebu. The overall theme is based in one of the Jaeger's of the
movie particularly "Striker Eureka". Striker Eureka is an Australian Mark-5 Jaeger
designed to defend the coastline of Australia from the Kaiju. It is the first and only Mark-5
Jaeger in service

Going into the bike it features a wide array of custom modifications done by Khent himself
especially the Fiberglass work on the body, paint and custom decals. He wanted the bike to
reflect "Striker Eureka" in motorcycle form. He wanted the bike to emanate speed, agility
and aggressiveness just like the Jaeger that was the inspiration behind it. The bike took 7
months to build, what makes this bike special and unique are the custom Fiberglass work
done by Khent such as the Owl Eyes, Belly Pan, Winglet and Fenders these key features
were made from scratch by Khent and they were not made from molded parts. It makes the
bike one of a kind and unique from the rest. The bike also features a wide array of Rizoma
aftermarket parts and accessories such as the Transformer Handlebar, Side Mirrors,
Volt/RPM meter, Fluid Tank Reservoir, Crankcase Cover, Chain Guard, Chain Guide,

Caliper Cover rear, Frame & Axle Sliders, Key Cover, Lever Crash Guards and Side Stand.and the last Jaeger to be constructed. "Striker Eureka" is strongest and
fastest of the Jaegers. It has a wide array of weapons such as the Brass Knuckles which are
made of temperature-resistant brass-steel compound cast around the joints of each finger
extension. The Jaeger is also equipped with "Sting-Blades" laced with carbon nanotubes
that channel thermal energy at temperatures over three hundred degrees Fahrenheit, capable
of wounding and cauterizing Kaiju in close combat. The Jaeger's key weapon is the six-
barreled WMB2x90 Anti-Kaiju Missile chest launcher which is equipped with eighteen
individual K-Stunner warheads that can kill Kaiju with a direct hit. Its speed and agility

allow it to combat and kill Kaiju far quicker than the previous Jaeger series produced.

The Ghost Rider: Custom Kawasaki Fury 125 Bobber by Tron Bikes Works

For this month we are featuring a Custom built Bobber built by Tron Bikes Works of Lapu-Lapu City Mactan but what makes it unique is the base bike that it was built on. Bobber builds are usually built around cruiser bikes such as Harley-Davidson, Indian, Excelsior and Henderson. The riding position usually places the feet forward and the hands up, with the spine erect or leaning back slightly. Typical cruiser engines emphasize easy rideability and shifting, with plenty of low-end torque but not necessarily large amounts of horsepower, traditionally V-twins but inline engines have become more common. But for this build the team behind the bike used an underbone as a platform

particularly the Kawasaki Fury 125.

A bobber, originally called a 'bob-job' from the 1930s through 1990s, is a style of custom motorcycle. The typical construction includes stripping excess bodywork from a motorcycle; removing the front fender, and shortening the rear fender, which is "bobbed" (as in bob-tail), and all superfluous parts removed to reduce weight.

Going into the bike the Tron Bikes team did a lot of custom body work the platform which is the Kawasaki Fury 125 was not your regular platform when building bobbers so you could only imagine the man-hours and complexity involved in building the bike. They altered the angle of the front suspension, they made custom shifters, and rear brake controls to achieve the laid back

position. One might argue that it looks like a chopper but the team did not go to extremes in altering the rake angles which are common in chopper bikes that have extended front forks that

give it a stretched out look. The whole rear portion of the bike was custom built. They also did a custom gas tank and extensive custom body work on the front end of the bike which houses all the controls only the middle portion of the chassis was kept original. They used chains from a nearby shipyard to create the custom paddle shifters and brake paddles up front and the

passenger foot pegs at the rear. They also made a custom seat for the bike. The chains were also used to make the customs accents to give it the "Ghost Rider" look and finally the whole bike was custom airbrushed with the Ghost Rider theme.
