A Bike Like no Other: Modified Yamaha RS 100

Once in a while you get to see bike creations that truly push the boundaries
of our imagination and a few weeks ago I got an email from a truly innovative
bike enthusiast Johnie Rey R. Nabua an upcoming underbone tuner correspondent
so you better watch-out for his on the scene reports for bike events
around Manila. Check-out his unique take on the 2-stroke bike model from
Yamaha the RS100.

Johnie shares his thoughts on his journey in building this
multi awarded bike.

“Transform Project”.This bike was inspired from the movie “Transformers”. A full allloy and metal character in the form of a motorbike. The owner’s love and passion for bikes is the key for this bike creation. The bike has undergone many trials and errors like other modifiers. the modifications was started in the year 2008, the bike was an old and almost considered a junk during those years.

The first step taken was the restoration of its the engine and make modifications on the frame. After the engine restoration and frame modification the owner look for different alloy parts from different motorcycle parts to make unusual plates and accessories .The plates are manualy machined and handmade finished. The custom airbrush has undergone 2 stage design to come up with its final design the first design was a metal sheets and metal screens design, the second design interlayered to its first design was the mechanoid based design. After3 years of unending trial and errors the bike was finally turn into a stage show bike.
